Ultrsound accuracy for conception date Posted: 04-08-08 05:25am
Hi,
My girl and i had sex on 2nd, march, she
said she missed her period and she is not
sure when she was due for her period. We
had a test and it was possitive.
Today (i.e 8th, April) we got our
UltraSound result, it states that the baby
is 6weeks and 4 days. I have look far and
wide if this is to be trusted. If it is so
i could not be the father. How accurate is
UltraSound at this stage? Am i the Father?
6weeks 4days back she was away on a trip.
I am full of doubts. Can someone please
help me.
Thanks

Subtract 2 wks off of the Results and that
is when she would have gotten pregnant.
Pregnancy goes from the beginning of your
last period.

So, that means the Ultra Sound result is
not accurate by 2 weeks??
The thing is she don't remember when she
last had her period. How am i gonna make
conclusion?

The dating sounds funky, but it works out.
6 weeks and 4 days ago she was on her
period. Pregnancy dating goes from the
FIRST day of your LAST period. That is how
they come to the due date, how they date
the pregnancy and how she is 6 weeks 4
days pregnant.
The ultrasound just told you and her when
her last period was.
