today was my first day of switching to
dexadrine from ritalin for my ADD
and it has made my teeth hurt ALOT
well at least im assuming its from the
dexadrine
ive never had pain this unbearable on my
teeth
can anyone tell me if this will go away
over time, if i switch back to ritalin
or if i should go see a dentist
the specific teeth that are in pain are my
back right teeth (the whole area)

I would suggest you ask your dentist about
this. If you go every six months for
cleaning and check ups, your dentist would
be aware of something if this were
(dental). You might also ask your physican
who prescribed this medication to you, if
this is one of the side effects. I have
never heard of either of these meds
causing tooth pain, keep us posted I am
curious as to what has to be said. Hope
you find out and feel better soon!

i currently dont have a dentist,
i plan on asking my mom to take me to one
the next time i see her
my dad (who doesnt live with me, so cant
take me to the dentist) told me that i
couldve been grinding my teeth as a side
effect of amphetamines and that could be
the cause
