any info would be appreciated...here is
the situation...a middle aged healthy man
who works at a mine (on surface) in
northern ontario,presents to the emergency
dept. (ER) 2 weeks ago with complaints of
shortness of breath (SOB) he is given oral
antibiotics and sent home. the next day he
has an increase in SOB and represents
himself to the ER, this time they admit
him...He has had a CT scan, and chest xray
which were negeative...As his condition
worsens he is sent to St. Micheal's
Hospital in Toronto. he is in ICU at St.
Mike's on a ventilator fighting for his
life. A brochoscopy was preformed and so
far all results are negative. the doctor's
are puzzled as to what could be wrong with
him. if anyone has any suggestions they
would be appreciated.
