Update on us! Posted: 03-27-08 12:51pm
I haven't really posted in awhile because
I have been so busy and trying to get all
of Luke's Great Strides donation stuff
figured out. I have been lurking though so
sorry that I haven't posted on picture
posts or other posts that I should have. I
am usually reading posts while giving Luke
breathing treatments so I can't really
type.
We went to my mom's for Easter so that was
quite fun. Luke loved being with all of
his cousins and didn't cry the entire time
that my nieces and nephews were there. He
just liked to look and smile at them.
Luke is finally sitting up on his own but
he still doesn't want to crawl. Silly
baby! I am hoping soon though because he
is starting to act like he wants to move.
He sleeps through the night but last night
he woke up allot. I think that he is
starting to teethe because he is getting a
runny nose and also loose stools. His gums
have been swollen for awhile but today was
the first drooly day. It's so much fun!
We are still trying to get his reflux
under control but it is better. We
switched meds and it made a huge
difference.
I have been pretty boring lately. I did
get to go out to eat with7 other ladies
that have children with CF. It is nice to
talk with other moms that have the same
sense of normal as I do. I guess I should
be done. I am really slow today and some
students coming over today because I am
teaching piano again.
Again, sorry that I have been posting on
picture posts and stuff. I will try to be
better.

Sounds like you all are doing well.
Thanks for the update. I was starting to
wonder about you all, since you hadn't
posted in quite a while.
I'm jealous; I wish Cheyenne was sleeping
through the night!! She's up between
1:30-2:30 every single night and is
usually up 1-2 hours. My husband and I
both work full time, so it's been a little
rough to say the least.
Don't worry about the crawling. Cheyenne
is only a day younger than Luke and she's
not crawling yet either. I bet they both
will be soon though. Then we will have
our hands full!!!

Hey Courtney, Sounds like you are hanging
in there and that Luke is doing great.
I just wanted to tell you that God wont
give you more than you can handle.

I'm glad to hear about Luke doing a little
better! & I'm glad you had a good time
on Easter I feel like I
haven't actually seen pictures of him
since he was a tiny little thing. I hope
you're doing well and I'm glad you got to
go out with other mommies
