Hi.
i have noticed that my virgina really
stinks sometimes after my period for about
a week and sometimes it will happen other
times. The smell is reallyy bad. I go to
school sometimes and don't shower and i
can spell myself when i'm sitting in my
desk. Its disguisting..
I'm far to nervous to go see anyone...
and sometimes its itchy around my clitoros
and around my lips...
i'm scared, and worried.
and i hate this
i am sexually active but i just can't
believe that i would get an std or
something...
and i'm with clean people who are with
clean people.
WHAT COULD THIS BE!!!

Are you sure that the people you are with
are clean? Have you physically seen test
results for stds? You never know for sure
without a test. Even if they truly
believe they are clean and the other
people they were with are clean, there
always could be one liar somewhere down
the line. I'm not saying the men you are
with are liars; it could just be the girls
they are with, or the men that are with
those girls, and so on so forth. I would
always recommend getting a tested before
engaging in sexual acts with someone so
you are sure it is safe.
With that aside, if you are really itchy
and there is a strange smell, although it
seems scary, you really need to see a
doctor. It could be something as simple
as a yeast infection which can be treated
with over the counter medication. Doctors
look at dozens of vaginas a day, so they
will not think lowly of you at all. I
would not worry about how a doctor would
react. It's worth it to have a piece of
mind and be able to treat yourself so you
start to feel better and don't have to
worry anymore
