I have been takin nore qd b/c I am
breastfeeding when i first started takling
the pills I didnt have a period because I
was breast feeding, but recently starting
in Febuary I had been bleeding for half of
that month and then bleeding half of
March, I have started on a new pack 3 days
ago and it still isnt going away... what
is going on with my body?? Is this
normal??

Vaginal bleeding that lasts 2 weeks is
usually not normal. That bleeding could be
prolonged menstruation (menorrhagia) or
may not be connected with the period
(metrorrhagia). Birth control pills rarely
cause irregular bleeding . They are
usually given to prevent irregular
bleeding if due to functional reasons.
Irregular bleeding can also be due to
organic reasons like genital infections,
tumors (benign or malignant),
endometriosis, endometrial hyperplasia,
placental residua after delivery, injuries
or systemic disorders that decrease blood
coagulation ability.
You SHOULD consult your gynecologist as
soon as possible!
