Friday- developed sore throat, severe
constant headache, and stiff neck
saturday- continued normal routine but
felt very sick, came home and slept
sunday- went to work for two hours, came
home sick, temperature of 104 that night,
still with all symptoms of friday.
Also started coughing, congestion in
chest.
Monday- stayed home from school,
slept/watched tv all day, fever, less
headache and neck pain
tuesday- stayed home again, diminishing
fever, but coughing still keeping me
awake.
This morning I went to school but after
two hours I went home because I went to
the nurse to get tylenol and they freaked
when i
told them my temp was 102.5 the night
before. Came home early, slept.
I honestly don't feel too bad. My
temperature is normal in the morning, and
usually shoots up to
102.8 ish around 7:00. Still coughing,
sore throat, some neck pain. I guess
overall i'm just exhausted, wiped out.
I feel too tired to do schoolwork very
efficently. Got a negative strep test
today.
No idea what it is. I could probably
suffer through school but I am becoming
concerned because I have had this fever
for a few days, though it is normal in the
morning. No sexual activity or
anything. I'm 17 and i've been taking
tylenol, something-tussin?, some nyquil
last night, and the nurse gave me a blue
pill today that was supposed to last a
while, but hasn't had any effect.
Any idea??

I am not a dr but maybe you should go to
the dr and get something to get this
knocked out of you. This time of year
their is somuch stuff going around, my dr
always recommends a cough drop with zinc
in it, who knows, it mght even be mono.
Keep us posted! Hope you get to feeling
better!
Good luck
