I just went to the Ob's today to get a second ultrasound done to date my pregnancy. the first ultrasound showed a sac with no baby..that was the 19th of this month..i was expecting to be about 7 weeks then..my doc told me it looked only to be about 5 weeks pregnant..so she rescheduled the ultrasound for today the 30th..when i went it there was still no baby in the sac...she told me it was not a viable pregnacy..and recomeded that i had a d&c done...my HCG levels tested today at 9096..could i still have a baby inside that is just shy or is this pregnacy not meant to be...do i have good hcg levels??? I don't know what to do...should i have a d&c done??? this is my second pregancy..i misscarried the 1st one really early..i was told it didn't attach then after some blood work i was DX with PCOS and i have hosimotos disease..(Tyhroid) i am on metformin for my PCOS beacasue i am insulin resitant..and i am on synthroid for my thyroid...i had my thyroid checked last week and it was normal...I just wish i knew what to do...could the metformin mess with anything??? ..should i wait to do my d&c...i am suppose to schedule my tomorrow.. i am not sure if my sac got bigger..that is a question i wish i would have asked...the other weird thing is that my last period was April 30th..which should put me at almost eight weeks but my ovulation was always all over the place...i wonder what i should do?? i have no cramping no bleeding..what should my hcg levels be tommorow if i tested them..if they keep going up could there still be a baby????
