Hi,
My boyfriend has a wart on his finger
that won't go away and has tried topicals
from drug stores but it keeps coming
back- any suggestions of anything we can
try

Several old wives tales. The best I have
found. Take an emory board or nail file
and file the wart down to as smooth as he
can stand it. Cover it compltetly with a
piece duct tape. Keep this wart covered
(it literally smothers the wart away.
Leave the tape on until it starts to come
loose, and refile area and add another
piece of the tape. It could take about a
month, but it will disappear. I have also
heard of taping a banana skin peel to that
area, but for our family duct tape or
white medical tape hasworked wonders. The
idea is to not allow hte wart to get any
air. Hope this helps! If all else fails,
find a dermotologist and have it freezed
off!

Has he tried the freeze off products they
now sell at pharmacies. It is a bit
different than the topical ointments and
works well for smaller warts.
