water causing swelling of skin ? Posted: 06-22-08 17:35pm


For a couple of years now, I've had this swollen area around my mouth. You see, I wash my hands frequently and I used to wash my mouth at the same time just out of habit. Of course it dryed out my lips but now I'm thinking maybe it is what caused the swelling too. My question is simply: can too much contact with water make your skin swell?
