26 week appointment

Well, I'm measuring 2 weeks bigger now instead of 5. I know that can change all the time b/c it did with Ava. I told him that the last 3-4 days I've felt a big decrease in movement and sometimes he doesn't move at all. He asked if I had pain, pressure, contractions, etc. I told him that I had vagina pain, pressure, period feelings, but no contractions. So, he checked me out and his head is very low in my pelvis. He's no longer breached. He felt the head and all and it felt uncomfortable. His heartbeat was 144 and he was moving when he checked the heartbeat. However, he wants me to do a kick count tonight. He said that if I don't feel 10 kicks in 2 hours, to call and I'll have an ultrasound first thing in the morning. He wants me to continue doing that everynight and call him the following morning if I get less than 10 kicks.

I'm about to eat and lay down. It sucks b/c I have report cards to do tonight, but he's more important.

I'll let you gals know tomorrow if I have to go in for an ultrasound.

And if all goes well, I have an ultrasound no matter what on April 29th, 3 days after my 4D ultrasound.

It's scary when you have a decrease in movement, I had that a lot when I was pregnant. Keep us updated! How's Miss Ava doing?

i'm not feeling much movement either, but i think thats because the placenta is anteria (at the front). i feel it more when i touch my tummy so im not concerned. just keep an eye on it. probably having a lazy couple of days

Wow. I can't believe how far along you are already. It seems your pregnancy is flying by too!! It may not seem that way to you though. Smile I some days where I didn't feel Cheyenne move around too much, but she usually made up for it on other days. Maybe yours will be the same.

My placenta is also in the front, but what worried me and the dr. is that he went from being extremely active to almost nothing. The dr. thinks it's from him flipping and moving downward.

He kicked 12 times in 2 hours last night, so I'll just have to do kick counts every night until my ultrasound in 4 weeks.

It has been flying by pretty much. It helps to think that we only have 8 1/2 weeks left of school, then I have 3 1/2 weeks until my section date.
I know the rest of this school year will fly by, so it'll come quick.

We're in the process of getting his nursery set up right now. It'll be Philadelphia Eagles. My friend who loves to sew is making his bedding set.

How scary Betsy! But I'm sure Destin is FINE!
He's just so cozy now, he's sleeping all the time!

I found myself jiggling my belly JUST to make Nya move for me! LOL!
Or I'd drink a massive amount of cold drink! LOL!

I was a paranoid FREAK with Nya...esp about her being breech. Even though she never was! LOL!

I'm so glad Destin turned for youuu!!!

I can't wait to see him! I'm off to search for some belly pics! Will I find any?! LOL!

No, no belly pics. I've been slacking in that department. I never feel like taking them.
He kicked ALL night and most of the day tonight. No need to worry anymore, thank GOD!

At least it's been flying by for you lol!
Glad he's kicking. He might just have been having a lazy day.

I hate it when I can't feel my little man in there moving. Some days he is bouncing off every side and then others he is pretty still. Makes me worry if he's ok.
I am so glad that he started moving for you. I think our due dates must be really close to each other. Hope these last few weeks go quickly for you.
