I'm even wearing my new maternity clothes!

cute bump! why havent you been to the dr. yet??? I know when i told mine i was preg they got me in the next week! I dont see how you could wait that long...that would drive me crazy!!!! Probably twins!

Well last time i went in to see him, I wasn't very big, he said if its twins I won't know till I'm 3 months, so, I have a couple weeks left to go in, and listen to the heartbeat(s)

I"m 19, I'll be 20 in February. No they didn't do an ultrasound then, because I was measuring correctly for where i was. But with twins it isn't obvious till the third month, well close to it. And the deadbeat daddy's sister is a month older then me and having twins so it wouldn't surprise me twins run in both our families/

wow! With my cousin they were able to tell when she was about 8 wks preg b/c they saw 2 sacs. Sounds like you have a good chance for twins!!! Things still arent going well with daddy??

Nope he abandoned me at 8 weeks, and as for the doctor he said when I come back to hear the heartbeat we'll find out then

He's making you wait until 3 months for an ultrasound? That's somewhat odd. Most women I know get their first ultrasound around 6-8 weeks. You'd definitely see both babies clearly then, too. Maybe he has another reason for wanting to wait that long?

hes making me wait to do an ultrasound till 20 weeks, unless he suspects twins when I go in to hear the heart beat. I don't know, I heard most people can hear the heartbeat at 9 weeks, hes making me wait till 13 weeks.

It can be difficult to find the heartbeat before 12 weeks (I haven't heard it with my doppler yet).. in fact some midwives don't try & find it before 16 weeks. If it is twins he might not be able to find out by hearing the heartbeat.. what if he can only find one? Hmm well if it turns out you're measuring ahead he might give you a scan sooner. Cute belly by the way =)

Thanks guys, I'm terrified I'm going to have stretch-marks though, my mom had them really bad. And I am hoping thats the case for me too.
Do you think 13 weeks is too early? I'm really hoping to hear it, even though I'm showing i think it will feel more real to me once I hear the heartbeat

when i heard my baby's heart beat it was at...i think it was either 13 weeks or 14 weeks. The doctor told us that we may not be able to hear it this soon, but it was there my fiancee shed a couple tears and i was so amazed and happy, you might be able to hear the heart at that time

I heard my baby's hearbeat at 6 wks. You can see the little heart pumping on the u/s too! Its soooo precious!!

Awe thats so cute, I wish I could hear the heartbeat now....I wish the old fool would've done an u/s to see if theres more then one then.
