Labor and delivery thoughts Posted: 04-07-08 14:34pm
Wow~
Time really feels like it flies! I only
have 6 weeks till my due date. My husband
really makes me laugh, he is so gentle
when he is feeling the baby move or kick.
I tell him he can put a little pressure,
but I think he is worried about hurting
the baby.
We have our last class tonight really just
dealing with the actually baby stuff. We
learn the diapering, swaddling... I think
it will be pretty fun. My husband has
never been around babies, so it will be an
experience when our little one comes. I
am pampering myself one last time before
he gets here, since I am sure that I will
really not have the time after he does. I
have scheduled a pedicure and eyebrow
waxing, really a day at the spa later this
weekend. That will give me 5 weeks to
look good before he comes.
Is anyone close to May 16 due date? I
also wondered what are people's thoughts
were for there first child with the labor.
I have a normal pregnancy now and I am a
little anxious and nervous about the labor
and delivery part. I am planning to get
the epidural. I think too, that my
husband might be more nervous than I am,
he is always asking me if I am okay and if
I rub my belly he asks if I am feeling
okay. I know he is concerned because I am
the one that has to tell him when it is
time or if I am not feeling well or in
pain. Just wondered what others thought!!
