I'm reading "The Other Boleyn Girl", yes I
know very cliche as the movie just came
out, but I actually bought it a while back
and just started reading it last week. Its
very interesting so far and I'm going
through it very quickly.

The Witching Hour by Anne Rice. My third
time. I know...what can I say. I love this
book.
I also read the other bolyn girl because I
learned it was made into a movie. And its
not cliche at all. Its acually my hobbie.
I always look at the previews and credits
to see if the film is based on a novel.
Just so I can go buy the book and compare
movie to book.
The book is always better though. I love
this thread! I love books and no one else
I know reads...lol

Love The Witching Hour....love all of the
Mayfair Witch books! I just finished The
Pillars of the Earth by Ken
Follett....very good, but if you like Anne
Rice, which I do, you may want to read The
Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. It is very
good and, revolves around European history
and vampire lore. I'm a sucker for Anne
Rice, especially because so many of her
books take place in New Orleans, which is
where I live part time. Its so neat to be
able to walk down the same streets, and
see the same houses that she refers to in
her books.

Rosie H, if you like Anne Rice, I would
seriously recommend ‘Memnoch, the
devil”. According to me, that was her
best work by far. And yes, cliché, I’m
currently reading Robert Ludlum’s Bourne
Trinity. Lol
As for Dean Koontz: He is too talented,
and he just scares the hell out of me.
Best suspense writer alive probably, but I
just can’t read his books.

I too love Anne Rice. She and James
Patterson are my faves. I have literally
read all of Anne Rice's vampire books at
least 3 times, including Memnoch the
Devil. I usually start the Chronicles over
again every other year.
I will definately try The Historian. Im
always looking for new and exciting
authors.
Since a lot of you guys like Anne Rice try
Christine Feehan.
She wrights about supernatural beings and
includes a little bit of romance in with
it. I love her books. SHe is also up there
as one of my faves. She has so many great
books. She has two main series; one about
genetically enhanced soldiers and the
other about vampires. They are different
but very fun!
Anyone have any other suggestions?

Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer. They are
currently making the first book in the
series (Twilight) into a movie... I CAN'T
WAIT! There is also New Moon in between
them.
