YES, you can start anytime you want, BUT
you have to use a back up BC method for 7
full days.
It takes 7 days to be protected, but that
only counts for your VERY FIRST pack =)

Definitely, you can start any time.
Doctors usually only recommend waiting to
start until your first period because they
want to make sure you aren't pregnant.

Start any time, defiently start on a
Sunday though, which most doctors will
reccommend. Its the same thing as after
having a miscarriage or abortion. You
start effectively the following Sunday.
Also, taking birthcontrol pills might help
induce regular periods.

There is really no need to start on a
Sunday. The only reason that that is
recommended is so you can look at the pack
if it has the days listed and know which
pill to take because it says the date on
it.
However, I know my birth control comes
with a sticker with the days on it you can
put over the printed on dates so it fits
to how you are taking them.

Sorry if that sounded harsh in any way. I
didn't mean for it to come out
threatening. You said "definitely start"
on Sunday, so I was just informing her
that it isn't necessary if she's
interested in being protected ASAP.

Oh and on that note thanks PenguinsRus,
also if you are choosing to be sexually
active still use a back up method for
about a month or so into using BC until it
regulates itself into your system
