Q: white blood cell count going up !!!

I have been back and forth to my doctor's office for 3 weeks taking so many urine and blood test. They keep saying that my white blood cell count continues to grow. In the middle of this they know I have some sort of infection but not what so they put me on antibiotics to see if it would help with my wbc and it did not, it just went up some more. Does anyone know what would make a white blood cell count keep going up? I am not pregnant, I am 35 yrs old, I do have other medical problems which I have been dealing with for 13 yrs but has nothing to do with this. I am lost and scared and I can not get in to see a specialist until the beginning of July. Can anyone give me reason or examples of why this is happening. Also, I have no bladder or yeast infections. Thanks for all your time. I do greatly appreciate it. Also, thanks in advance for any helpful information you could give mel. Take care Sad
