I was put on topomax and amitriptyline for
migranes about a week and a half ago and
told to up the dosage by 25mgs every week.
I have been researching topomax and I
want to get off it. Can I stop it right
now or should I ween myself off?

Do not stop taking this medication
abruptly. If you are planning to stop with
the usage, consult your doctor first. Some
conditions may become worse when this drug
is suddenly stopped. Your dose may need to
be gradually decreased.
