OK, I've tried everything. I get a yeast
infection every month approx one week
after my period has ended. I try everyting
to get rid of it and ususally do. Then I
have my period and after that is gone my
husband and I have sex for that one week.
Then the cycle starts all over. This all
started when we started being sexually
active and has progressivly gotten worse
over the years. I've done probiotics, diet
change natural remedies.....practicaly
everything. Some things have halped but
hasn't stopped this. I'm beginning to
believe that maybe I'm getting reinfected
by my husband. I've read so many diferent
beliefs on this topic. How in the world do
you treat a man for yeast infection. He
has no symptoms and hasn't ever. He does
eat a very high carb and refined sugar
diet, wonder if this has something to do
with it.
Anybody have any ideas or been thru
anything similar? Help!

Men can have yeast infections and be
asymptomatic. Ask him to take the
probiotics with you. They are very
effective for yeast overgrowth. It is not
a quick fix but will do the trick.
Reducing sugar and simple carbs will help
with the process. Yeast thrives off sugar
and simple carbs.

Have you tried Monistat? It took several
prescriptions of Monistat to clear mine up
when I was younger. Now, you can buy it
at any local pharmacy or even Wal-Mart.
The only thing that stopped the yeast
infections when I was younger was taking a
bath after sexual intercourse. I know that
is not always convenient, but if it stops
the infection, it is worth it. My doctor
did tell me that some men's semen is very
acidic and can cause these problems, not
necessarily does he have a yeast
infection. Good luck!

I know it takes some of the fun out of
sex, but ask him to try not coming inside
of you for one month. if it is a sperm
sensitivity/allergy, it could make the
world of difference.
my husband and I have always had to do
this, so we just make the best of it.

Thanks for eveyones input. I use monistat
or some form of otc medicine just about
every month. I'm probably immune to the
medicines by now...which is why I've
turned to natural forms of treatment. I
have yet to ask him to take the
acidopholis with me along with diet change
for him as well, so I guess that'll be my
next step.
As for sex, i have him w/d because I was
concerned over being sensitive to his
sperm. I've had a skin rash in the past
from it when we started
dating....unfortunatley I react badly to
condoms as well. I'll try to bathe after
sex and see if that helps, I usually wash
up but not a full shower. I've been with
him for almost 9 years and I'm seriously
sick of this. Thanks again.

Have you tried eating a lot of yogurt? I
have heard this is very good when you have
yeast infections. Have you talked to your
doctor about your sensitivity? Try hot
baths, after intercourse. Hopefully, it
will help.
